The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Educational Programs pay for admission charges and assists with transportation costs for any school in the State of Alabama that wants to visit the museum. Your partially deductible $1,000 donation will support not only the Educational Programs and the operation of the outstanding Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, but also give you the opportunity to be one of ten lucky winners of all-expense paid trips for two to some of the world's most prestigious sporting events. The winners will be announced at The Great Sports Getaway Reception on Friday, May 21st, at the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame from 6:00-9:00 pm. Proceeds from this event support the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and its Educational Program, a free, educational field trip program for students statewide. This year, more than 8,000 children will visit the museum. There is no admission cost and ASHOF assists with the associated transportation costs of the field trip.
